The 35-kilometre-long coastline of Llanes contains some of the region’s quietest and best beaches, coves, cliffs and small villages. It is also by the sea that you will find the colourful and emblematic ‘Memory Cubes’ – a unique sculpture created by Basque artist Ibarrola. Inland, the Cuera mountain range is popular amongst hikers, bikers and potholers for the wonderful views that they offer, as well as the local Cabrales cheese produced there. |
