Charming small family hotel owned by Youloundas family, is situated in the suburb of Missiria 200m from the longest sandy beach of the island and 4km outside of Rethymnon city.
Rethymno is surrounded by mountains. East of the prefecture is mountain Psiloritis (2456m), the highest and most famous of Crete. Southwest of Psiloritis is the mountain chain of Kerdos (1777m). At the northeast end of Rethymno is situated mountain Kouloukounas or Talea Mountains, while southwest of the prefecture is mountain Kryoneritis (1312).
