Nirwana Resort Hotel is on Bintan Island, Indonesia, a 55-minute ferry journey from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore. Bintan lsland is the largest of 3,200 islands in the Riau Archipelago and the 3rd largest of 27 provinces in Indonesia. Located at the crossroads of one of the world's oldest and busiest maritime trading routes, Bintan has provided a safe haven to traders and sailors from Europe, India and China for over a century.
Guests need to take a high-speed catamaran from Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT). The journey to Bintan Island takes about 55 minutes. The transfer to and from the ferry terminal will be provided by the resort. Nirwana Gardens Resort should be informed in advance as to when guests are arriving so that the necessary arrangements can be made for the transfer. There are no buses or taxis on the island. |

* Nirwana Resort Hotel has a lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facility and lift access. The resort also has 6 food and beverage outlets. Conference facilities also feature. For younger guests there is as a kids club with activities for children 4 to 8 years and 9 to 13 years and a playground.
* Sports: Recreation facilities include an outdoor swimming pool (with children's pool, sun loungers and parasols), a jacuzzi, a jogging track, a fully equipped gymnasium, a spa and an entertainment game centre. A variety of massage and spa treatments are offered. Further activities on offer include water aerobics, water sports (banana boating and diving, beach games (including beach volleyball), archery, air rifling, paintball, jungle trekking, table tennis and pool/snooker to name a few. Cycle tours are also an option.
* Board: Dining choices range from Indonesian delights and international cuisine to seafood dinners above the sea. The Coffee Shop is an all-day dining restaurant serving buffet breakfast, as well as buffet and à la carte meals for lunch and dinner. The food there can be described as variations on local and western cuisines. Dino Bistro - an alfresco-style dining concept - serves east-west fusion food. Jeju Restaurant - an indoor restaurant - serves authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. The poolside restaurant and bar is an open-air restaurant with a hawker-style concept offering an à la carte menu with local food which varies from Indonesian to Singaporean favourites. A full-scale BBQ is served during weekends.
* Ideal venue to hold themed parties, large meetings, gala dinners and wedding receptions. Comprises 6 various sized meeting & function rooms that can accommodate a capacity of over 600 persons.
