Other than visiting the fortress and the port of Dénia, this seaside city is the perfect starting point to enjoy the nearby beaches of Javea, Moraira, Altea or Benidorm, and other Costa Blanca beaches.
Dénia, capital of the Marina Alta area is situated on the south east of the Iberian peninsula. Its harbour divides two kinds of coast: the northern one called “Les Marines” with typical sandy beaches and a southern one called “Les Rotes” which is rocky with pretty little cliffs.
Fun and relaxation are guaranteed all day in this magic town. You can walk around the old town, visit some of its museums (The Ethnological, Toy and Archaeological Museums) or go on trips inland to see the gorgeous landscapes with their valleys, mountains, rivers and villages. |
