The lakeside eco-resort is set amongst tropical plants and orchids, trees and grasses. It is 25 km from the town of Sandakan (the name Sepilok means sixteen in the local dialect 25 km). The reserve is very close to Lankayan and is also easy to reach from both Sipadan and Kota Kinabalu.
QUALIDADES DO HOTEL
* The chalets feature beautiful lake or jungle view, the surrounding garden and amazing array of tropical plants and grasses and a collection of more than one hundred and fifty different Asian orchid species.
* Front office, tour information desk and restaurant are all integrated in the resort main building built with charming traditional wooden interior reflecting a truly tranquil setting, overlooking the green shimmering curtain of lowland tropical rainforest canopies with some formations reaching almost 80 to 120 feet.

* The eco-resort has 23 comfortable timber chalets with hot and cold water shower and bath, air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
* The fully air-conditioned (and very comfortable) twin bed chalets feature beautiful lake or jungle view verandahs and private bathrooms with hot water.
